Having a tailor-made workout plan can be very beneficial for your body and health. Some people ask for the assistance of professionals to help build their plan, and others prefer to build their own. Whether you are working out at home, or know very well what your body needs, you might want to create your own plan. In the following article, we will help you build your own workout plan with the help of StepChain.

To create your workout plan, take the following into consideration:

1. Your goals:
why are you working out; to lose weight, get in shape, stay healthy, etc.? Remember your goals and keep them in mind in order to know what to include in your plan.

2. Your current body situation: are you a beginner or you have an advanced fitness level? Your fitness level can help you understand where to start from.

3. The injuries you have: if you have any injuries you might need to assess them to know whether you can work out with your injuries or you need to treat them first.

4. The exercises that you would like /  can do: decide the type of workout that you prefer and have the ability to do. Some people prefer doing classes such as Tabata or Zumba rather than spend hours on machines, while others are a big fan of weightlifting.

 

 

How to use StepChain to create your workout plan:

StepChain can help you create your own workout plan based on data you enter in the application. In case you haven’t downloaded the app yet, do so now.

StepChain has an amazing solution for you which is the workout feature. This feature can help you create a workout plan tailored for you. Another good news is that you will get STEP Points as a reward for the workouts that you achieve.

As soon as you download the app go to the feed section in the lower bar of the application. Click on workouts and start by choosing the options that suit you.

The first step chose your coach. You can choose among many coaches; some of them are personal trainers such as Dina Awad, Christian Ghsoub, Mario Saab and others are power-lifters or athletes like Michelle Sankary.

The second step is picking your activity level. Chose the option that indicates your activity level based on the intensity of your movement. If you spend most of your time sitting, chose Not Very Active, if you spend your day on your feet, choose Light Activity, if you are physically active, choose Active, and finally if you have a Heavy Physical Activity, choose Very Active.

The third step is setting your goal. Step Chain gives you the option to customize your workout based on your fitness goal. You can choose between losing weight, toning up, building muscles, and staying fit.

Finally chose how many days you want to work out. The plans that Step Chain provides are good for people who would like to work out 2 times, 3 times 5 times per week.

Once you chose all the mentioned options, you can access your workout plan in the feed section by clicking on workouts. Your plan can be seen by clicking on the days of the week which you previously chose to work out on. You will still be able to access the workouts of the previous days and do them again. Check out the summary page every time you complete a workout to see a recap about all the sets that you have done during this day and the ones you did not do. The completed workouts will be marked in red while the pending ones in white. Once all the workouts are in red you will be congratulated by StepChain!
