It's easy, it only takes about ten minutes, and you feel accomplished.
There are a few different ways to make your bed depending on what type of mattress or sheets you have (even if they're flannel). If your fitted sheet is tucked in underneath the mattress: pull out the corner at one end and tuck it in under the mattress. Then, pull out a corner at the opposite end and tuck it in on top of what's already there.
If you're using flat sheets instead: make sure they're neatly tucked in all around your bed, then fold them back over the edge to create clean lines for neatness sake. You can also do a full fold.
Whatever you do, don't just let your sheets hang over the edge of your bed! It looks sloppy and unkempt and it's not really conducive to a great start to anyone's day.
So if you're looking for something that will give you a little more time in the morning without feeling like you're wasting time, make your bed!
-Pull out one corner of the fitted sheet.
-Tuck it in under the mattress.
-Pull out a different corner and tuck it on top of what you already did (on top).
-Do this with all four corners to ensure that the sheets are tucked in.
-Tuck the sheets in all around your bed, then fold them back over to create a clean look for neatness sake if desired. You can also do a full fold.
If you're using flat sheets: make sure they're neatly tucked in all around your bed and folded on top of themselves or else it looks sloppy.
